We put a lot of effort into researching and creating recipes, shopping, cooking and trial and error, cleaning after the cooking, testing and writing (not to mention the technical aspect of running a website)! Our least favorite thing is to have to put up these Terms and Conditions, but we have been advised that it is necessary. So please bear with us and read them before you get started. These Terms and Conditions along with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer governs your access to and use of the blog/website, foodwaysandmemes.com, including all content: stories, recipes, recommendations, links, product sales, opinions, information, newsletters — whether you are a general guest or subscriber.
By using this site in any capacity, you certify that you have read all FWM terms and conditions, privacy policy and disclaimer and accept and agree to all the terms of use in each. All of the written content on FWM site is copyrighted and owned by us with the exception of some photographs which we may obtain from public domain sources or purchase from stock photo companies. We try to identify the individual sources of each photo, but in those cases where they may not have identifying information, it is up to you to determine where they came from and obtain permission to use them from that source if you would like to use them for your own purposes.
Our stories and recipes are written by us and no copying of any text for your own blog or website is allowed without our prior written permission. If you would like to use any of our recipes or stories for your own website or blog or other type of publication, we take that as a compliment. Our only requirement regarding this is that you let us know what you intend to do, and link back to the recipe or story post on our site, foodwaysandmemes.com. Send all communications by email to info@foodwaysandmemes.com. In some circumstances we will okay use of our content without a link-back, but we always require that credit be given where it is due! We request that prior to posting any of our recipes you test them to be sure they work for you. We are not responsible nor can guarantee the outcome or result of any recipe for you.
In the case of restaurants or public establishments, you may use our recipes in your establishment and do not need to seek permission from us for this purpose; we would appreciate it if you would comment on our site about this, but you are not obligated to do so. In these circumstances we accept no responsibility if your customers or users have an adverse reaction to any of our recipes or ingredients listed in said recipe.

We have a separate privacy policy and advise you to read it before you use our website for more information regarding your privacy. By using our website/blog, you agree to our published privacy policy, in addition to these Terms and Conditions and our disclaimer.

You must be at least 18 years of age before you can use our website/blog.You affirm that by using this website, you are at least 18 years of age and can legally adhere to this Agreement. We are not responsible for any liabilities due to age misrepresentation.

One exception relates to certain photographs that may be stock photos paid for by FWM, or any recipes that are provided to FWM with permission from their originators.
